Andrei Siderski, Athletic Hatha Yoga with the dynamic functional
Athletic Hatha Yoga with the dynamic functional training elements and rhytmical breathing patterns incorporated into the asana sequences.

The specific breath patterns and dynamic elements noticeably increase the athletic and infoenergy significance of asana practice. The resulting spontaneous meditation effect within the asana flow enhances the ability of one's attention to gouide the intent control processes within the virtual field of perception. Due to the increased energy density and breath control the asana flow acquires the obvious qualities of pranayama and chi kung, thus confirming the Svatmarama's statement "only for reaching the result of Raja Yoga Hatha Yoga makes sense". The positive side effects, such as therapeutic efficiency etc. are also enhanced.

What about when you are relaxed and joyful? You take long, deep breaths. The obvious conclusion is that the breath is influenced by how we feel, but can our negative emotions be transformed by using the breath? Certainly.

: Movement accompanies me all my life: from an early age in classical ballet, through jazz, modern dance and athletics ... until I met yoga ... there the real journey began. I teach and practice Ashtanga, Vinyasa Yoga and VINYASA FLOW, which allows you to connect points / places through breathing, where the way is unknown and only what is possible will be discovered in a single moment. Like the moment when a seedling sprouts from the ground, like the flowering of a flower, like ... the first breath of a baby. VINYASA FLOW is a natural, creative, intelligent continuum - connecting every moment with breathing. I see Yoga as a universal way, as well as a traditional way of showing ourselves how to exploit our full potential. During the weekend we will experience the permanent world - the first and second Ashtanga series, but also the uncertainty and the breaking of routine through Vinyasa, where we embark on a journey to the unknown.

The workshop and the practice will focus on practical and theoretical learning of the basic principles of Shadow Yoga that create a simple, diverse, and challenging movement which comprises the three introduction series. This movement strengthens the leg joints, releases the rigidity from the knees, ankles and hip joints, and strengthens the bones and the blood.
We will also focus on Assanas (poses), through which one can experience the essence of the Yogi practice as a preparation for the Pranayama. This essence has nothing to do with range of motion, flexibility or performance.
The practice incorporates a broad use of Abdominal Lock (Uddiyana Bandha) and of the stored energy inside the lower belly, and therefore is not suitable for beginners and for women during menstruation or pregnancy.

In every Yoga practice we move the whole body, the whole body is made of the sum of its limbs, but we will first have to separate it in order to connect everything back ... to the whole! We will focus first on the bone layer, then on the muscles, and then on the energetic layer. We will understand and experience the different layers of the body. Along with the physical practice, we will look at the Yogic view of the body and the Yogic thinking, in the philosophical aspect of Yoga. In days that we most need yoga practice the chance of leaving the house for a studio class is usually small. Really small. And especially in the days when yoga training is most needed, yoga training can really help. Knowing that I have everything that is necessary for a Yoga practice gives inner strength. Power that is attached to taking responsibility. For my inner mood and state of consciousness. Daily practice at home and the possibility that it invites for a meeting and reflection on life is not something hard. You do not need three and a half hours every morning for that either. It's really something you can cultivate. The man in his room with himself in his day. It is interesting that the desert is an ideal place to sprout and plant and fertilize this seed of personal Yoga practice at home.

Yogic practice will always be adapted to the individual practitioner - otherwise it is not Yogic practice .... Why this definition? Because the purpose of Yoga, according to the Yoga - Sutra - is "kaibalia = Aloneness". Interpretation of this term and its impact will accompany us throughout the weekend of the workshop. Aloneness: Yogic space - is also the name of the book, published in Steimatzky in June 2017, and is in stores. It is a unique Yogic space, where the stay depends on the development of a Yogic technique of individual excellence that is the subject of Yoga Sutra. In the workshop we will practice advanced yoga - one that goes for advanced physical training - but also beyond the endless pursuit of physical postures / movements; also in the understanding of the physical practice of asana / vinyasa, also in the Kaibalia = Aloneness. A Yogic space. Advanced Yogic practice according to two methods of Ptanjali Yoga. application of prana ayama (breathing expansion) and in the teaching of the Yogic massage as conveyed in the main Yogic text as determined by the Yogic culture: Patanjali's Sutra Yoga. We will tie these components together, according to the conclusions of the research in this book. The practice will be dynamic, enjoyable, breath-based, instructive and enriching.

In Yoga Arava this year I will teach mainly Vinyasa flow. The base of Vinyasa is from the practice of the very popular Ashtanga Yoga. I am a devoted Ashtanga student but in recent years I have discovered that it is possible to be more creative in the practice and not to stick to the familiar series, which made the practice more empowering and exciting for me. The Vinyasa practice is suitable for all levels of practitioners because during the practice there are endless adaptations that can be practiced (different positions of the same posture) so that everyone can find themselves. In the workshops we will practice various Vinyasas, ranging from the core stability Vinyasa to strengthen the upper back Vinyasa, hip flexibility Vinyasa and so on. The Vinyasas are delivered in both Hebrew and in English. We will also learn ancient techniques of concentration from the traditional world of Raja Yoga so that we will eventually achieve the ultimate union. Mind body and soul.

The traditional ending of Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga ends with 'lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu' - may all the beings of the world be joyful and happy. There is no greater sign for me that the combination of the meditation of love with the practice of Ashtanga brings to a whole place and allows for a quiet, stable and powerful state of expansion of the heart. I look at this meditation like the dance of Buddhism, it is the extra spice, the spark that allows to dance the dance of life alongside with the quiet being. the dynamic and beloved Ashtanga Vinyasa practice I have the feeling we are going to have the time of our life this weekend. The workshop is definitely suitable for all levels, for anyone who wants to love and combine it with a dynamic and sweeping practice. Through conscious movement and breath work, meditation, focus, intention setting, deep relaxation and self study we build a sense of mindfulness giving us a platform to connect to our true self. Allowing us to step back from reacting to life and rather become effective participants creating the life we want to be living. A life with purpose. The weekend together with Eddy and Jackie will include well rounded, vigorous vinyasa and workshop style classes with a focus on arm balancing, transitions and inversions. As well as yin yoga, meditation, pranayama, chanting and a few other surprises. The weekend will be approached with a sense of play and light heartedness with direction and encouragement towards using the practices for self reflection and discovery of a deeper connection to atman.

In this in-depth workshop we will renew in the primary level a forgotten physical unity. We will gather the body parts to the center of power in the female pelvis. We will delve into hidden angles and release normal blood flow and female energy that has been squeezed by the automatic race of life. The deep and precise physical practice evokes the center of female power and navigates the right limits of movement and flexibility to that body. The terms range from the "mother base". Bone density, balance, muscle endurance, closed muscle circle and internal levers are frequently practiced and accurate for women to realize in daily life as well. Female Yoga is practiced out of curiosity and not out of ambition. In this way the woman can renew deep knowledge extensions to herself. The 'ownership of my body' is returned to the woman and the internal knowledge sometimes precedes external medical knowledge. Women's independence develops in all its forms.

Yin Yoga is a healing practice that refers to the body as one whole, based on the principles of Chinese medicine, and draws inspiration from restoreative Yoga. It is a practice designed to balance the fast and demanding pace of life through a long, loose stay in the various asanas. This allows us to uniquely strengthen areas that are not normally treated - such as bones, fascia, ligaments and tendons - that strengthening them requires moderate and focused stress over time. The slow, breathing practice allows us to observe quietly inwardly and become familiar with the nervous system from a place of release and immobility. During exercise, we relax and teach the muscles to relax and become flexible, allowing the nervous system to move intelligently from a tense state called "fight or flight" to a relaxed state called Rest and Digest. This year, Noga will lead the exercises along the weekend of the festival focusing on meridians. We will focus on a series of poses designed to release physical and energetic blockages through breathing exercises, asanas and specific compressions with unique accessories. During each lesson we will learn to know and understand - intellectually, emotionally and sensually - the energy channels in our body, a tool that we can use during life. Shai, the guest teacher, will provide participants with tools for life that will help them understand the impact of the work on internal organs, emotions and feelings related to them, and give us vital information about the connection between Chinese medicine, holistic perception and Yoga.

Air yoga practice from a medium to advanced level. Practice of hovering meditation, massage in a hammock and pairs practice. The sense of flight is a feeling unlike any other. Air practice allows us to do things with the body that we never believed we would ever achieve as adults. This is one of the things that makes air practice a way of life. The practice teaches us to release: release the body, release a grasp, release consciousness. It's practice in trust. To trust the ground I had created for myself, and to know that I had now created a safe grip that would allow me to release, let go and fly. Air practice takes us to new regions. The hammock is a tool that is a kind of unstable ground and hence takes us to the practice of awareness of the body and orientation in space. At the same time, gravity enters high gear as a major help in muscle extension and increased range of motion.

In our workshop in Yoga Arava, we will use the desert spaces, exercises (postures, breathing and meditation) and sounds to reach the deep place between the postures, between the sounds, between breathing - a place of silence that is within us. We will practice Yoga in flow (Vinyasa Yoga) that is suitable for all levels and also different kinds of listening. The workshop is for beginners, experienced practitioners and teachers (during the workshop, different variations of postures are given to fit the different levels).

three days of experiencing, observing and listening. A weekend that is a yoga journey offering to connect through movement, sounds and the stillness within.
Inspired by the Ashtanga method, we’ll practice a dynamic yoga flow, alongside live music and in silence. We’ll experience meditation in motion, sitting, and lying down. With the help of the sounds, we’ll release and stretch our body and mind, expand range of movements, and cultivate softness in a strong practice.
Using the practice of pranayama, magical sounds and chants, and a dialogue, we’ll explore what enables and prevents harmonious living.
In the magical and peaceful desert, at the amazing venue of Timna Park, we’ll experience the harmony that composes our being, be inspired by nature’s symphony, and learn to act freely and harmoniously on and off the mat.
Just as the sound connecting breath and movement, the combination of Ori, Sophia and Alit, offers participants a unique experience that expands your practice and mind.
A few of the gifts this workshop offers, beyond asana practice:
Sound Healing – while lying down, we’ll experience magical sounds and healing vibrations by unique instruments from all over the world. Didgeridoo, tibetan bowls, shamanic drums, indian flutes, strings, and more.
Spiral movement – learning and practicing a circular movement that supports body release and improves the effectiveness of the movement in your yoga practice.
Breath and voice practice – fine-tuning the ability to listen to our body, release emotional tension, and letting go

The workshop is suitable for all levels of experience and physical capabilities.
Should there be a need the workshop will be conducted in both English and Hebrew.

How the body, mind, and consciousness act and react when we expand our boundaries in all senses, each time anew and thereby create change. The workshop will focus on the power of Yoga to create change and the ability to make the impossible possible. We will examine the practice as we examine our relationships, sometimes we can enter a challenging position more easily, relax comfortably in a challenging situation in our lives, or find ourselves with a deeper breathing and more patience. We may also encounter satisfaction and will power to make a change in our lives.
