Vardit Kiper And Eti Yeshayahu, Yoga, contact & ayurveda: expeirncing Wholeness
During the three days of the workshop we will experience the flow of the Assanas (the Yoga poses) as a self-healing tool which allows an energetic movement that opens up energy channels and blockages in joints, muscles and different areas of the body. The practice consists of both focusing on specific areas inside the body, and also a holistic practice for the entire body.
We will learn another therapeutic tool for energetic movement and releasing physical and emotional blockages by working in couples with touch (massage) in an accessible, flowing, authentic way, to allow the body the most nurturing conditions for physical and emotional healing.
This workshop is for anyone seeking tools of self-healing and healing of others, and for everyone who has a deep longing for a deep connection to their selves and to life.

A light, fun workshop for the welcoming of the Sabbath, where we will experience the healing properties of touch. We will practice classic Yoga in a group and in couples, with ease and attentiveness. We will experience contact through touch, equilibrium and balance. We will stay in poses together, breathe together, support and be supported by one another. We will try to attain reciprocal listening, open, conscious and high quality communication, get to know one another and open our hearts.

Osho’s Kundalini Meditation: A classic dynamic meditation. It is a 4-stage meditation: the first stage, in which we shake our body, releases stress from the muscles, the joints and even from our soul. Then we allow the body to dance freely. These two stages prepare us for the meditation stage: we sit or stand quietly and listen to music, observe ourselves and enjoy the energy which was created during the first two stages, and the inner peace that follows. The last stage is lying on the back for rest and relaxation.

Practicing yoga is a way of life. It is about the way, not the result. With a lot of perseverance, patience and a positive attitude – we feel the results in our spirit and body, and in our general attitude for life, which grows stronger. In the workshop we will practice Ashtanga with an emphasis on the inner force created from Ujjain breathing and the usage of bandhas. We will try different kinds of exercises which will support our inner strength from the outside and we will talk about our attitude towards practicing and how it affects our lives.

There’s nothing like a workshop in the desert. Practicing out in the desert allows a disconnection from our everyday lives. The infinite intensity and silence will give you extra value for inner observation and will peel away the outer layers. The breathtaking view and quiet makes a perfect environment for a qualitative and profound practice.

How to develop a correct, balanced and effective personal practice at home Most of us do not have two hours a day to dedicate to our Yoga practice. However, the right daily practice of only 15 to 30 minutes can be a peaceful and powerful start for our day, and allow us to continue our day with more energy and inner calm. In this workshop we will learn how to build a daily practice according to our needs and to how much time we have, while still keeping it effective and balanced.
We will learn about the life force inside the body (Prana), and the basic principles of using it correctly and effectively in the practice of poses, breathing and movement (Assana, Pranayama and Vinyasa), according to the method of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. We will study the principles and philosophy of Ashtanga Yoga as they appear in the scriptures (Yoga Sutra by Patanjali), and become familiar with the technique and the guidelines of the practice, and also the principles of self-practice (Mysore).
The workshop is suitable for new students and also experienced ones, who want to deepen their knowledge about the practice and their ability to practice at home in a correct and balanced way.
It is my pleasure to share with you the deep knowledge I have gathered during years of practicing and learning, and to pass forward to the best of my ability the experience of a deep Yoga practice, which crosses the boundaries between body and consciousness. I would love to see you in the workshop.

Doriah Naveh, Water Yoga

My choice of working in the water was a result of my interests in the fields of authentic motion as a dance teacher and therapist. I am fascinated by the inner component of movement, meaning, the motivation of the inner motion or motivation of stopping the inner motion in the body, and the source of those motions in the body-mind and interpersonal motion. Practicing therapy in water exposed me to the possibility of observation of the way the body moves in water in connection to the hidden aqueous quality and the inherent richness of this quality. I discovered a wonderful way to vividly experience the subtleties and complexities of motion to the level of fluid in the body (based on treatment method Hkrnioskrelit) by reflection and amplification properties of water. And I found that you can use the tools I have acquired while training in water as well as on land. According to Patanjali, independence is the return of the material states to the origin, without a goal for osseous, establishing power consciousness in its super form. Meeting of the body in the water is an opportunity to get close to a deep sense of independence or a return to our primal and primordial, and experience in the most intimate our whole self wrapped and contained by water. This containing resistance of the water might lead to change in the approach to the potential within us, where the body can become strong and flexible with relative ease. Breathing absorption in this series is essential to develop a practitioner seeking strength, stability, discernment, and perseverance from a safe foundation and correct practice of yoga poses.

Keren Or Kitsis, The sound of letting go- a Mantra and Ashtanga Vinyasa weekend
Chanting mantras according to Indian tradition has the power to quite the mind but not only. It can change reality. Tradition says that Tryambakam was about to have his 16th birthday, the day when Fate condemned him to die. Knowing the decree, he set in front of the statue of Lord Shiva and chanted the "big mantra of defeating death" constantly. The power of chanting was so strong that when Lord Yama, the god of death himself came to claim Tryambakam's death, he could not penetrate the armor created by the chanting. The workshop will combine a dynamic Ashtanga practice with the power of mantra sound. The workshop is suitable for all levels and for everyone who likes to allow the body in a dynamic and challenging practice, and to all those who want to explore the magical sound of the mantra language.

This is a practice to balance all the hectic yang in our life, on and off the yoga mat.
Similar to meditation, this is a practice of slowing down, stopping to move and checking where the mind goes when the body gives space for stillness.
This way the muscles and nerve systems unwind, relax, accepts and opens up.
During the class we sit or lie down in asanas (yoga poses) supported by props - pillows, blocks and bolsters. We then work towards a full release of the muscles into the pose for an average duration of 5 minutes in each pose.
When the practice is finished the body feels open, flexible and comfortable, the mind relaxes and the thoughts are more clear.
The workshop will provide you with enough tools and information to continue the practice at home.
Yin yoga is known to help relief headaches, menstruation pain, back and joints discomforts. It's also a remarkable way to deal with stress and anxiety.

This year Noga will combine the yin yoga workshops with a technique for self healing and deep tissue massage using balls and blocks. During this practice the participants place these props under the body's key positions, allowing their body weight to loosen onto the balls and blocks.
This allows deep treatment and healing in both physical and mental/spiritual levels.

Please connect with Noga through her website if you have any questions or if you'd like to receive a short demonstration sheet by email:
Noga-yoga.com
Facebook: Noga yoga Event page: www.facebook.com/events/1625823957728/

Please bring a yoga mat and a pair of tennis or lacrosse balls.
It is also advised to bring two foam yoga blocks and a yoga bolster.
If you can't get those we can use folded blankets and regular pillows instead.

The workshop is designed for beginners as well as advanced students. Teachers who are interested in adding Yin to their classes will be addressed as well.
Noga teaches both in Hebrew and English.

Yael Elhanan, Hatha Shadow Yoga Workshop with Yael Elchanan
Yael Elhanan, Hatha Shadow Yoga Workshop with Yael Elchanan
A practice of sequences and flows that combine sitting (observation), and warming the joints, to emphasize and recognize the natural flow and openness of the body, and the connection between the physical and the spiritual. We will emphasize the breath and its relationship to certain key areas of the body (asanas), and personal stability. In the workshop, we will attempt to achieve a rhythmic and dynamic exercise in order to awaken the energies through a variety of movements and poses that will allow you to reach a higher level of concentration and inner peace which emphasize the connection between the martial arts and the dance of Shiva. The emphasis of the exercise is to the ground, and opening the avenues to evaluate what is right for us in the practice. The Yoga practice will open the way for the connection between time and space, so that together we can dive deeper into the heart and mind. Shadow Yoga is based on the extensive writings and philosophies of Hatha Yoga. The sequences of Shadow Yoga are based on a series of unique foot positioning and on the movement of the spiral that is found throughout nature, as well as humanity, through a diverse array of human activities including martial arts, dance, and chores of daily life. Shadow Yoga was ddeveloped by Shandor Ramtah (b. 1947), who began learning yoga at the age of six with his father, and then went on to become one of the closest disciples of Iyengar for two decades. Afterwards he went to teach new and different yoga techniques, including elements of martial arts, traditional Indian medicine, and different styles of ancient Indian dancing. In his book, Shandor Ramtah, writes that yoga is the distinction between what is the soul and what is not the soul. The journey is completely dependent on altering and transforming the natural patterns within us. These patterns "disturb" and confuse the task of perceiving the true reality. Shadow Yoga has brought to Israel the student of Shandor Ratma, Dudi Malka who for 15 years has taught workshops in India and Europe, and has practiced Shadow Yoga, under the guidance of Shandor Ratma.

Tal Rednai And Maayan Eltanvat, Feminine Yoga and Conscious Movement with Music
Tal Rednai And Maayan Eltanvat, Feminine Yoga and Conscious Movement with Music
Woman’s Health in the Path of Yoga
“When I meet the mattress and my inner silence, I begin to recharge.” (Shared by a student of Feminine Yoga). Feminine Yoga is a method of practice and therapy which was developed by Mira Artzi Padan, and it is based on traditional Yoga, with adjustments to the female body in each phase of the monthly cycle and life stages. The practice is focused on women’s health and addresses the hormonal, emotional and physical stages we go through, and concentrates on the core muscles, with an emphasis on the pelvic floor muscles.
From a physical standpoint, we combine movement, breathing, concentration and deep work of the pelvic floor. These muscles constitute an inner anchor which stabilizes us in life, and have a crucial influence on our well-being and capacity for joy. Feminine Yoga practice strengthens each woman at the exact place where she is at, opens the blockages, renews the flow of energy, strengthens the immune system, soothes, and gently encourages the tuning inwards.
Emotionally, each one of us becomes closer to herself, strengthens her inner anchors; meets her inner being and the primal and creative parts of herself; she grows, evolves, and finds herself within. Slowly, gradually, moderately, a sense of capability is built within each one of us.
It is also important to know that although Feminine Yoga deals with deep inner subjects, it can still be physically challenging and cultivate the strength to cope with life.
A saying that goes with me for many years is “The most constant thing in life is change” (Mira Artzi Padan). I find that building the body’s inner strength, through the correct work on the core muscles with an emphasis on the pelvic floor, cultivates one’s ability to cope well with every life’s changes and daily challenges.
“In each moment there is a correlation between a woman’s body, her social status, her place in the circle of life and her health.” (Dr. Christiane Northrup / Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom).
The practice of Feminine Yoga promotes health on all levels of life.
The workshop is suitable for every woman, at any age and at any stage of life. The practice is challenging, and allows each woman to find her own place.
In some workshops we incorporate conscious movement which empowers and sharpens the physical sensations, accompanied by music that allows us an even deeper connection inward.

The workshop will explore the freedom within the boundaries that delineate yoga postures, examine the natural boundaries of the body, look at different qualities of movement and internal dialogues that allow us to extend them. We will explore the fine line that run between the elongation and the opening of the body and between stretching and overloading which will shrink and close it. Seek the freedom to move within clear boundaries of yoga postures to get deeper inside beyond the physical boundaries of the infinite waves of consciousness. We will explore what makes the clear and final limit of the body to infinite. Sigal Ran And Tami Arieli, Feminine Yoga
Sigal Ran And Tami Arieli, Feminine Yoga
Feminine Yoga was developed by Mira Artzi Padan, and it combines Ancient wisdom from the Yoga world with modern scientific knowledge, in order to adjust the practice accurately to female biology. Its uniqueness lies in adapting the practice to the woman’s life, while considering the structure of the female body, the menstrual cycle and hormonal changes, and of course the deep layers of her emotional and energetic world. Feminine Yoga benefits women in all phases of life – teen age, fertility, pregnancy & menopause.
Feminine Yoga works on strength, flexibility and stability of the muscles and the skeletal structure, while paying close attention to female physiology. Balance exercises are adapted to the different life phases, and strength and endurance exercises are designed to promote both physical and mental strength. The heart of the practice is on the “core” area – abdominal muscles, the pelvic floor and the diaphragm.
Gender-oriented medicine, which is growing in popularity in recent years, has come to similar conclusions as those of the Feminine Yoga practice. This practice supports and assists the rehabilitation of various feminine pathologies, such as Endometriosis, hot flashes, Fibromyalgia, pelvic floor injuries; and helps treat common feminine symptoms such as PMS – migraines, stomach aches, mood swings etc. The strengthening of all the feminine body systems reconnects the woman to her feminine roots, and finds within them the anchor and insight which in turn alleviate and even heal the external symptoms.
We invite you to give this gift to yourself and get to know the secrets of the feminine pelvis, and all that lies hidden inside it – physically, emotionally and sexually. In this workshop we will get to know our body and the changes it goes through, in order to understand how they navigate our lives. We will learn accessible and simple exercises for strengthening the pelvic floor. We will use tools from the world of Feminine Yoga for inner strength and empowerment, such as: feminine literature, intuitive writing, guided imagery, etc. We will learn how to cope with the setbacks life throws at us, and turn them into opportunities. With the help of the Yoga mattress we will go on a journey of self-exploration, and come back to the world with simple and accessible tools for improving our lives.
We will walk the path of Feminine Yoga inside and out.
This workshop is suitable for every woman in every age and stage of life, for beginners and for experienced students, and of course, for Yoga teachers of any style and method.

(This class is designed based on the principle of Pratyahara - withdrawal of ones senses)

Another benefit is a renewed sense of gratitude. We often take simple things—like our ability to appreciate beautiful images, light, movement and action through our eyesight—for granted.

In this retreat we will speak a little and breathe a lot. We will practice powerful kriyas, walk to the acacia tree in the desert valley, where we will chant, meditate, and make our breath a prayer. Breath is in the heart of kundalini yoga, the yoga of awareness. In the heart of the breath is the connection to the source of life energy - Prana. When practicing kundalini yoga with a breath which is full of awareness and love, when we remember our true identity with each breath we take, then the breath becomes a prayer. When you breathe with love and devotion words that have clarity and intention, then the connection between the known and the unknown becomes constant and continues. We will learn how we can purify and transform the state of our body, mind, and emotions using different breath techniques. We will receive tools that we can use to bring a meaningful change to our wellbeing, change to the levels of stress, higher levels of concentration and increased levels of accuracy and efficiency in our words and our actions.

Liat Meshulam And Yoram Idan, Ashtanga Yoga in the view of the energetic body - the deep level of the practice
Liat Meshulam And Yoram Idan, Ashtanga Yoga in the view of the energetic body - the deep level of the practice
Most of us are familiar with the Ashtanga Yoga as it is commonly taught today – a fixed and dynamic sequence of poses and challenging transitions. Ashtanga Yoga has been well established in the Western world, and has become widely popular among young people and people with a high fitness level, particularly because of its “aerobic” quality. However, at a closer look at Ashtanga and its origins, what is it beyond that? What has been forgotten between then and now? And what is the connection between a sequence of poses that may have been influenced by modern gymnastics, and Yoga?
In the workshop we will explore together the subtle energetic layer (Prana) of Ashtanga, work with the bandahs (energetic locks), energetic directions, Pranayama, and delve into the Yoga through the practice of the first and second Ashtanga series.

The workshop is suitable for people in all levels of fitness! It is wonderful for advanced and experienced students, but will also give a great basis for those who are new to the Ashtanga Yoga world. We will work with each participant according to his or her experience and to where they are in their practice.

In this workshop we will explore, with the different techniques that Yoga offers – Assana (poses), Pranayama (the practice of regulating life force through breathing), and Samayama (the practice of deep reflection and meditation), the ways to live full lives with less suffering.
We believe that everyone can practice Yoga – in any shape and in any age. You don’t have to be an athlete or an acrobat to take pleasure in the joy of Yoga practice. Therefore, our workshop is intended for both beginners who want to deepen their practice, and experienced Yoga students who realize that there is much more to Yoga than the Assanas (poses) ant wish to taste the ocean of abundance that the practice offers. Also, for student with an injury, whose bodies faced them with a new challenge and opened a window for a more mindful and tailored practice.
In our workshops we start opening the body with a soft, gentle practice, discover and make friends with the breath as a basis for a relationship with ourselves, and practice sitting meditations. We study chapters from the Yogi philosophy which is at the base of the practice, to light the way for our inner exploration.

The Universe is abundant and giving in nature. It is also the Great Spirit's will for you to experience peace. Abundance is having all of your needs being sufficiently met. This includes health, relationships, money, more time and vitality.
Over the course of the weekend, we will develop an Abundance Mind-Set by using ancient techniques such as meditation, pranayama(breath work), mantra(chanting) and asana(yoga poses) to dissolve blockages and to maximize the flow of abundance in our lives.
"Our greed comes from our fear that we will not have enough – whether it is money or love that we grasp. Yoga teaches us to let go of these fears and so to realize the abundance around us and within us."~B.K.S. Iyengar

Mati Gudiner, Vinyasa Flow
Mati Gudiner, Vinyasa Flow
During Yoga-Arava I will teach mainly Viniasa flow yoga. The foundation of Viniasa is taken out of the popular Ashtanga-yoga. Even though I am a devoted Ashtanga student, I have discovered over the past few years that Viniasa allows you to be more creative in the practice and be less focused on the order of a familiar series; this is what makes my experience of practicing so empowering and exciting. Viniasa yoga suits everyone’s fitness level through simple adaptations that can be made for each different asana according to the flexibility and capability of those who practice. In this workshop we will practice a variety of asanas starting with Viniasa and progressing through core stability, then Viniasanas for strengthening the upper back, pelvis’s flexibility and so on. The Viniasanas will be guided both in Hebrew and in English We will learn ancient concentration techniques that comes from yoga Raja-yoga’s traditional world in a way that will lead us to the ultimate union; body, mind and soul.

The workshop and the practice will focus on practical and theoretical learning of the basic principles of Shadow Yoga that create a simple, diverse, and challenging movement which comprises the three introduction series. This movement strengthens the leg joints, releases the rigidity from the knees, ankles and hip joints, and strengthens the bones and the blood.
We will also focus on Assanas (poses), through which one can experience the essence of the Yogi practice as a preparation for the Pranayama. This essence has nothing to do with range of motion, flexibility or performance.
The practice incorporates a broad use of Abdominal Lock (Uddiyana Bandha) and of the stored energy inside the lower belly, and therefore is not suitable for beginners and for women during menstruation or pregnancy.

Shirli Goldstein, Yoga Flow
Shirli Goldstein, Yoga Flow
Movement has always been a part of my life; from classical ballet in my early years to Jazz dance, modern dance, athletics… Until I found Yoga… that’s where the real journey began. I practice and teach Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, and also Vinyasa flow – the method allows one to connect the dots and spaces through breathing, in which, the path is unknown and only what is possible at each moment is revealed… like the moment in which the seedling sprouts from the ground, like the blossoming of a flower, like a baby’s first breath. Vinyasa Flow is a natural, creative, intelligent sequence that connects each moment to the breath. For me, Yoga is both a universal and a traditional way of showing ourselves how to realize our full potential.

Hadar Hod, Liron Elroyi Michaeli And Rotem Ratner- SOLD OUT, Desert Yoga- SOLD OUT
We invite you to a Yoga workshop that is all about flow, depth, connection and unity. We met back in 2002 at an Ashtanga teacher training course in central Israel. A very special bond formed between the three of us, and we continued the friendship over the years.
Since then we have moved to the opposite sides of the country, started families, experienced a wide variety of teachers and methods and continued to explore, practice and go deeper into the path of Yoga. Each one of us went on a bit of a different direction and developed her own unique style, but we continued to grow together and learn from one another - through deep conversations about the essence of life and about learning from the students; consulting each other about professional dilemmas; practicing together whenever possible. The pulse of Yoga kept on beating between us.
Now we reunite at “Yoga Arava”, happy to open another circle.
We invite you to three days of a deep practice of Vinyasa and movement in a group setting, some of it accompanied by world music; a combination of Vijnana Yoga principles with tools for physical and mental stabilization; conversations about dealing with fear and pain, expanding the heart, and most of all about staying present and connecting to the power of the present moment.
We are excited and looking forward to meeting our students, both old and new.

Yuval Ben Mordechai, Vijnana yoga
Yuval Ben Mordechai, Vijnana yoga
The Vijnana Yoga style was created by Orit Sen-Gupta; it tries to refresh the knowledge of Northern Indian Yoga traditions, as was taught by Krishnamacharya, the teacher of B.K.S. Iyengar, K. Pattabhi Jois, and T.K.V. Desikachar. A Vijnana Yoga class focuses on meditation, breath exercises, and Yoga poses, while practicing the 7 principles: relaxing the body, quieting the mind, focusing through intent, rooting, connecting, awareness of breath, and expanding. The Vijnana Yoga practice is a flowing one, but during the workshop some of the time there will be a flow of movement, and the rest of the time will be dedicated to a deep study.

Liza Gaber , Ashtanga Vinyasa
The yogi is the one who is looking for the way and being in sadhana. He is the one who asks questions and opens up to a place of exploration and observation, for a thorough examination of things, and from this point the possibility to peel the shells, with the checkpoints and the layers opening wide. In my way in yoga I try to show my students the place where we can all find the way and to see the right path to experience true silence in every moment and within every situation we meet in our daily life. At Yoga Arava, in a magical place in the desert, which is characterized by huge spaces of silence, we have been given a chance to meet ourselves, open our heart and to fill up with love. I am happy to host and and be hosted in Faran with my friend and an amazing teacher - Rotem, who will be guiding one of the trainings. We will give an opportunity for students to meet, to open up and enrich their knowledge. Lisa will be a guest in Rotem Ratner's studio Ruach Hamidbar - Moshav Faran. Studio Ruach Hamidbar.

Keren Orosa, Yoga on the water
Keren Orosa, Yoga on the water
3 magical days of desert, Yoga and sea. This workshop combines practicing Yoga on water and land, and paddling on the SUP. The SUP Yoga practice does not intend to replace Yoga on a stable ground; it adds an important element to it, and clarifies two on Yoga’s most important principles: stability and relaxation.
Working on an unstable surface requires precision and attention to the body placement during the pose. The practice is challenging, and the posture muscles are activated in a large part of the poses. The student must find his or her inner stability, yet remain in a relaxed state and allow the body to accept the movements of the board and the water.
The bigger the effort and the challenge, the deeper and more powerful is the relaxation on the water; the closeness to water allows one to connect to the water inside the body.
Add to it all the influence of nature around us – the sea, the sun, the wind, and sometimes even the rain and rainbow – and you will get an amazing and dynamic experience.
What is special about this workshop is that there is no need of prior knowledge of Yoga or the SUP. The unique approach and the different rhythm allow a pretty smooth entrance into this world. At times there is a mental barrier to go through, and it is different for everyone - that’s the beauty of it… We slowly dismantle it and get to work.
It is a complete experience. There is a strenuous exercise, a profound relaxation, a connection to nature, to air, water, and good company.

Rotem Mordoch, Aerial Yoga - SOLD OUT
Rotem Mordoch, Aerial Yoga - SOLD OUT
“ - What if I fall?? - Oh, but my darling, what if you fly?!!” - Peter Pan
The sensation of flying is like no other. The aerial practice allows us to do things with our body we never thought we would be able to as adults. It is one of things which make the aerial practice become a lifestyle. This practice teaches us to let go – let go of the body, let go of the grip, let go of the mind. It is an exercise of trust; to trust the ground I have created for myself, and to know I have now created a strong grip which allows me to relax, let go and fly.
The aerial practice takes us to new places. The hammock is a tool which forms a kind of ground which is neither stable, nor solid, and therefore takes us into a practice of body awareness and orientation in space. At the same time, gravitation enters high gear as a main assistant in elongating muscles and increasing the ranges of motion. In the workshop we will deepen our Aerial Yoga practice, from intermediate to advanced level, in which more and more exercises are drawn from the world of aerial acrobatics. We will have a lot of time to explore each Assana and deepen it with challenging variations. A great emphasis will be placed on the transitions between the Assanas, in order to create a continuous movement. We will experience floating meditations, massage in the hammock and couple exercises. And of course, we cannot do without some play. We will experience the use of the hammock from different realms – physical exercise on one hand, and letting go of the mind on the other.
The workshop is for Yoga students who have some experience with Aerial Yoga and are comfortable in the aerial space. The practice level is between intermediate to advanced. It is also for people who practice AcroYoga and/or acrobatics. * The workshop is not suitable for pregnant women.
You are welcome to consult me whether or not this workshop is suitable for you on my Facebook page, or leave your details at the ticket sales center and I will get back to you.
