The Guesthouse was envisioned and built by Rotem and Rotem in Moshav Faran.
It welcomes you with a combination of desert simplicity and quality, privacy and warmhearted hospitality, and untouched nature with modern comfort.
The Guesthouse is expanding, and the first two of six planned rooms have now been built.
The rooms are built and function ecologically, and include a young orchard, a recycling area and an area for an open fire. They are comfortable and spacious, and are suitable for a couple or a family. They include a sleeping area with comfortable mattresses, a recreation area with cushions, a sitting area, an accessorized kitchenette, a bathroom. Outside there are large shaded balcony with hammocks and a herb garden.
Rotems’ Straw Bale Guesthouse is not only a place to stay. Part of our vision is to have workshops for building with earth, and hosting Yoga workshops in the ‘Desert Spirit’ Yoga studio.
The essence of the Guesthouse has been present since the building stage, and its attraction has spread by word of mouth. Many people have come to work, study, volunteer and help, and have left their mark, for which we thank them deeply
